Nearly 20 days after arriving in Bali, I reluctantly left and headed west to the island of Java. My time in Bali and Gili Trawangan have ranked as one of the best so far in this trip that has been filled with wonders. I got a chance to slow down, relax, enjoy some amazing sunsets, partake in some spectacular dives, and revel in the culture permeating this tiny island. As a long-term traveler, sometimes it is difficult to decide when to stay and when to leave. There are times when you arrive at a new place and immediately want to leave, the sights, smells, and sounds of the new location grating against your senses. I have learned that at times like this I need to allow a few days to adjust to my new surroundings. It has oftentimes become easier to adapt to a place with time; gut instincts sometimes don’t reflect the nature of a place. Instead these responses reflect your body telling you the environment is different than what it has become accustomed to.

the mist looks just fantastic.
I was less lucky: http://www.vontrompka.com/blog/2011/12/nie-lubie-blogow-o-podrozach-czemu/ though text is in Polish, the picture says more than 1000 words. 😉

Thanks! I guess my mist is better than your mist which covered everything! The rest of your pictures turned out great though!
