The Coliseum in Rome, Italy, continues to entrance me each time I see it. Whether day or night, the magnitude of this structure astonishes me, and my imagination runs loose every time I see it.
This picture was taken when I visited Rome in the fall of 2009.

Agreed. Its nice that you took this at night so you can see the lights. Really great quality, can even see the little people underneath 🙂

Yeah I think the Coliseum is much more beautiful at night than during the day.

Thanks Devin. Traveling the world is much more accessible than you might think. Having grown up in Eldora, I had no idea about the ability to travel through Europe and the many wonderful places that exist there. After studying abroad in college it opened my eyes to traveling and opened up many opportunities. I think if you have the opportunity to travel you should not hesitate to take it. I look forward to posting more pictures and stories in the days and months to come.

That looks amazing. I have always wanted to see the Coliseum in Italy, it just catches my interest. It looks great at night, with the lights to illuminate it. I also really like all of your other pictures!

Thanks Levi. Rome is one of my favorite cities in the world. There is so much to see and the food is amazing. The Coliseum and the Roman Forum are only two of many incredible sights. You could spend weeks in Rome and still not see everything.
