I wanted to take a couple panoramic pictures of the Treasury in Petra, one from a unique angle up high looking down on it, and another close to it looking straight on.
This second panorama isn’t quite as clean as the first, but it gives you a better sense of perspective as the Treasury looms over everybody. It is also incredible to see up close how this was all carved right into the rock face.
The only bad part about the couple days scrambling around Petra? The fact that my socks and shoes were a rusty brown color from all the sand and dirt.
Brian, Do you buy anything from the gift shops??
I haven’t yet since everything I buy I have to stuff in my bag and try to find room for. I plan on buying a few gifts along the way and then shipping them home.
