The Wildlife of Bako National Park April 25, 2012 briancretin While spending two days hiking in Bako National Park I came across a diversity of wildlife. Included below is a selection of things I saw during my time there. Proboscis mother with baby. Proboscis monkeys drink from a small stream among the mangrove trees. Bearded pigs cross a stream at low tide. A proboscis monkey reaches for food on a mangrove tree at low tide. A bird looks for food in the early morning hour. A mudskipper hangs out in the sand at low tide. The group of proboscis monkeys depart from the mangrove trees to the forest. A macaque mother and baby hang out by the mangroves during the early morning hours.
