Yes, I am traveling again. But I am not sure I will be doing very much blogging this time around.
I started traveling again in January of this year. I have been staying in Playa del Carmen since January and plan to be here until May. Then it is back to the USA for a couple months. After that, I am tentatively planning on Europe from August until Thanksgiving.
I have been loving Playa del Carmen. It’s a lovely beach town with great local and international cuisine, an abundance of Mayan ruins to explore within short driving distance from town, and world-class scuba diving right outside my front door. Check out the video I took of this morning’s dive:
Nice video! Glad to see a little of your travels. We went snorkeling when we were there but I have never been scuba diving.
Small World Brian! We’re flying to Cancun after arriving in LAX March 15. Haven’t booked tickets to Cancun yet; have any budget airline deals you might know? Most likely arrive Cancun March 27 and will stay for week or 10 days before heading south. We have old friends there who have been in Cancun as long as we have been on Boracay. They sold their beachfront land years ago and now have a house 3 km from the beach. So we can meet up again; Lorna and I plan to spend 6 or 7 weeks in Yucatan and Guatemala. We fly back to Philippines May 16 for 5 weeks before we head for Iowa / Midwest USA from July 1 to Aug 25.
